" Having A Reading With A Psychic Medium"

Hello Kula Magazine Readers,
I start off this article in dedication to the memory of my Mother who made her journey home to Heaven on September 4th.
We really are in a time that we need to be conscious of our thoughts that are reflected not only to ourselves but also to the lives of so many other people.
In the wake of Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita, we need to come together in the act of unconditional love and compassion for all of humanity all over the World. I know all these things happening in our World are teaching us to know who we truly are as spiritual beings having a human experience.
Last year, I experienced Hurricane Charley here in Florida, so I know from experience what our fellow brothers and sisters are going through.
We must do our part in helping one another without reservation, judgment or prejudice. Re-member we are all one for none of us are separate.
This month I decided to write an article that will educate people about how Mediumship works and the process of it as well as my own personal experience of being a psychic medium. I've been conducting readings for nearly 15 years. 10 of those years have been on a full time basis. As you can imagine, I myself have learned and still continue to learn on how Spirit communication works and the process of how it unfolds that we must honor in order for us to better understand our Loved ones, Angels and Guides
in the Spirit World that provide messages to us daily.
One of the many things I highly recommend to people is to not seek out having a reading with a Medium the minute a loved one leaves this Earth. For one it's very unhealthy to do it in the state of grief and mourning. There are times when those loved ones in the initial stage won't show up because they may not be ready to or feel you are ready to hear from them. Then there are times when the opposite occurs and the timing is right.
Many people go in to a reading with a Medium like myself with very high expectations. High expectations are quite normal but I always suggest to just be open minded and open hearted to whomever that you know
on the Other Side to come through with any messages that they are willing to provide.
In the years of my work, I have found many times the loved one(s) you hope to hear from do in fact show up and give messages. Then there are times when it's another loved one you would not expect to hear from or didn't know that well for whatever reason or its the family pet. To me I take it as a beautiful gift and see how precious that gift is. When people say to me "I didn't know my Mother In-Law" or whoever it is that they either didn't get to meet or hardly knew, I always jokingly say if they know who I am - trust me they know exactly who you are and sometimes the person getting the reading in this situation is being asked to be the Medium themselves to pass on the messages to those who need to hear it. Spirits will find every possible avenue to use to make a connection with a loved one here on Earth and this is a very good example of it. If you can be open minded to it and honor the process of how the Spirit World works, then the reading is far better than the one you may have anticipated.
Many times people feel that a loved one should have said this or that and I can tell you from my experience at times a loved one does do it to validate themselves more to you and other times they will tell you what you need to hear as oppose to what you want to know. I believe this to be true because when you let them tell you what you need to hear, you will get a lot more answers and insight in the long run.
So with all of that said here is what I recommend to all of you.
When seeking out a Medium, let your loved one guide you to whom the Medium they are choosing to work with. Whether it's locating a Medium on the Internet or through word of mouth, your loved ones will let you know that's the person to work with. I hear stories all the time from people who tell me, I kept getting led to your website. This is a good example of what I am talking about. The more you know about a Medium's work, the better the knowledge on your part.
When contacting and having a reading with a Medium, there is no need to tell them whom you want to connect with. Any good and legitimate Medium will tell you. Again it might be a loved one you were not expecting to hear from and if so it will at least show you that the Medium is in fact communicating with a Spirit as oppose to picking up your feelings/thoughts.
I can tell you that a Medium like myself in fact is never actually reading your feelings and thoughts. We are reading the Spirits and relaying their messages. The only thing any Medium would hope that you would do on your part is to be participate in the reading by at least validating what the Medium is seeing, hearing and feeling to make 100% sure that they are linking with you. If you can't validate the information, then let the Medium know that as that well. Many times you may not be able to validate certain information but another family member/friend can.
To conclude this article, I want to give you tips to better help each of you.
Take notice in the small signs that they show us. It’s the little things that sometimes make a very big difference. And when they do "Show Up", say thanks to them. Its a way to honor them for taking the time to lower their vibration from another dimension and they will come more often to you when you don't have expectations from them (living or deceased) and you accept them in the form that they are and what they have to offer. This is what Divine Unconditional Love is all about.
It is hard with the loss of a loved one and no loved one/pet wants us to grieve or have survivor’s guilt. Each soul chooses in the way they depart this world and they would want us to go on with our lives and enjoy the time we have left in this World for we will be with them again in the next World.
I hope my article was informative to each of you. In closing, appreciate all the moments you have with those special people and pets in your life and don't let petty things get in the way of your relationships for we just never know when a loved one will depart this Earth and we'd wish we said more to them.
